The only way to get into the tower is to climb with the help of her hair. She lives there alone. Rapunzel : (hopelessly) Singing takes me away from here, even if just for a moment.Narrator : Wicked Witch arrives and shouts.Wicked Witch: Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!Narrator : Rapunzel lowers her hair and allows the witch to climb up.Wicked Witch: Remember, Rapunzel, you belong here with me.Scene 2 : A Prince%u2019s DiscoveryNarrator : Again one day, Rapunzel sings songs. A handsome prince who is passing by hears her singing and observes the witch%u2019s visits.Prince : (whispering) Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!Rapunzel : Who is there?Prince : I am a friend.Narrator : Rapunzel trusts her instincts, lowers her hair, and the prince climbs up. They become friends, enjoying each other%u2019s company and sharing stories.Scene 3 : The Witch%u2019s BetrayalNarrator : The Witch discovers the prince%u2019s visits, confronts Rapunzel.Wicked Witch: You have betrayed my trust, Rapunzel! After cutting your hair, go away. I don%u2019t want to see you again. Let that be a lesson to you.Narrator : The Wicked witch cuts off Rapunzel%u2019s hair and sends her away.
